When the “Set time zone automatically” option in Windows 10/11 is grayed out, then your computer’s time zone does not automatically change based on your physical location.

The “Set time zone automatically” option in Windows 10/11 is a very useful feature for users who often travel to different time zones or use their devices in different locations. When this option is turned on, Windows uses your computer’s internet connection to determine its geographic location and then adjusts the system’s time zone accordingly.

Since many users have reported that on their Windows 11/10 PCs, they cannot change the “Set Time Zone Automatically” setting because it is disabled (greyed out), in this tutorial you will find several methods to fix the problem.
