If your laptop automatically turns on when you open the lid, it is due to a feature called “Lid open action”, which is designed to automatically turn on your laptop as soon as you open the lid without having to press the power button.

However, despite the fact that “Lid Open Action” is a convenient feature for users who want their laptop to be ready to use as soon as they open it, some traditional users want to disable this feature because they do not want the laptop to power on as soon as the lid is opened.

How to Change Laptop Lid Open Action on Windows 11/10.
