This is a quick guide on how you can see the email size in Office 365 Outlook for web (OWA).
By default, Microsoft Outlook displays the size of each email message you send or receive. But in Outlook in Web (OWA) this does not happen and there is not even an option in Outlook Settings to display this information.
How to View the Size of an email message in Outlook for web (Office 365, Exchange Online).
The only way to display the size of each email in Office 365 Outlook for web or in Exchange Online (OWA), is to switch to Outlook OWA light version. To do that:
1. Type the following URL address in the address bar and hit Enter:
2. Now in the Light version of Outlook OWA you should see the size of each email as in Microsoft Outlook.
How to Always open Outlook OWA in Light Version?
If you want to make the above change permanent and to always open the light version of Outlook OWA:
1. Click the Options menu.
2. Click Outlook version on the left pane and then at the right, check the option Use the light version.
How to Switch from Outlook OWA light version to standard version of Outlook Web App?
If you want to switch back to the standard version of Outlook OWA:
1. Uncheck the “Use the light version” option in Outlook version settings, as described above (if it s enabled).
2. Type the following URL address in the address bar and press Enter:
That’s all folks! Did it work for you?
